The Superintendent's Theatre Arts Resource (STAR) program gives students from East Coweta, Newnan and Northgate High Schools the opportunity to audition for and perform in a summer musical theatre production. On stage at the Nixon Centre, students in "The Wizard of Oz" will tell the story of little Dorothy Gale, who is carried by a tornado to Munchkinland from her home in Kansas.
