Subject: [Bgmrc-list] heads-up for possible severe weather

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK is advising there's a possibility
of a severe weather outbreak later this week. It would probably affect our
area in the Friday-Saturday timeframe. I'm not certain yet when I will be
working during that period, but I'll try to get a weather net going when I'm
available. If there's weather coming in and there's no net running, I'd
appreciate it if someone else could relay any severe weather reports to the
NWS. Several methods are available in addition to the SKYWARN Net -- here's

Also, as a reminder, the NWS has started a nifty free service that will send
warnings to your cellphone, and is customizable for your location, types of
weather warnings you'd like to receive, etc. For more info, please visit:

 I have been out of circulation for a while, my doctor cut my throat -for a
good cause I might add- sawing three neck vertebrate apart where they
hadddddddd voluntarly fuzed together, replacing two discs with magic glue,
and surrounding that with metal plates, then rebuilding support for my neck
with metal framework.  In x-rays I look somewhat like a NY skyscraper under
