[Bgmrc-list] a middle-school radio club in Middle Georgia

Today KL0UD and I went down to Byron GA for the Heart of Georgia Hamfest 
http://www.heartofgeorgiahamfest.com/ -- got there a little late, 
apparently the serious hamfesters get there first thing and so by 12:30 
the boneyard was picked clean and only a handful of exhibitors remained 
inside.

Anyway, the 'fest was held at Byron Middle School, which is the home of 
the Byron Middle School Amateur Radio Club, KG4BMS, 
http://bms.peachschools.org/radioclub/index.htm -- BMSARC is a sponsor 
of the hamfest.

It got me wondering whether BGMRC couldn't work with one or more Coweta 
County schools to set up some kind of school-based auxiliary to help 
bring young people into the hobby.
