[Bgmrc-list] BGMRC Eating Meeting Thursday 27th

The BGMRC September eating meeting is Thursday September 27th at 7pm at the Golden Corral in Newnan. Please plan to attend. We have a room reserved for our meeting and after eating we will conduct a short business meeting with the election of officers. We have not had an election for a while and it is time to let the current slate of officers retire.

The club has been active at both Field Day and at Powers Fair this year. We had about 30 people show up and setup, eat, operate, eat, take down, and eat. As you can tell we all had a great time.

Powers went well this year. We could have used some more hams on site, but covered our duties with what we had on hand. Kathy W4KTR covered the porch duties for us on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to Keith W4KTR, Lex W4XO, Ellis now W8PY, Bill K4WPM, and Eddie K4UN for their time cleaning the shack, replacing speakers and wires so all would be ready for the fair.

I hope to see a lot of you at the eating meeting Thursday September 27th at 7pm. When you come in tell them you are with the radio group.

Keep Ellis Camp W8PY in your thoughts and prayers. He had lung surgery Tuesday and came through OK. The spot was cancerous and they are running test and will know more soon.
