[Bgmrc-list] October meeting not called to order

I was the senior club officer present for the meeting this evening, and 
as it was my understanding eight are required for a quorum and we only 
had seven, I chose not to call a meeting to order and no business was 
done. However I've posted a summary of some things that were discussed 
by those of us who were there, at http://bgmrc.blogspot.com/

Two new members were present tonight. Sam KI4WNA -- who was a ham many 
years ago, lapsed, and recently earned a new ticket -- paid his BGMRC 
dues at the club's booth at the Coweta County Fair. Scott, who doesn't 
have his call yet because he just passed for Technician at last Sunday's 
VE session, joined up tonight. We hope to see more of them both at 
future meetings and events.

Chris KL0UD is looking into finding a place for the December eating 
meeting, which will probably be another of those potluck dinners that 
have been such a hit in the past.

Don't forget about the NIMS workshop Thursday night in Fayetteville. 
This will cover -- quickly -- material for the ARES-required incident 
command system courses. Hitch a ride (via the repeater or the email 
reflector) if you need one.
