Excellent questions, Tom. These are the three courses that are
required to be an approved emergency responder (Georgia ARES requires
them too). Basically, they teach us about the Incident Command System
and the National Integration Center Incident Management System, which
are the chain-of-command structures used by emergency management. We
need to know how these things work so that we can participate in
emergency operations more effectively.

You can read through the course material at the FEMA website, and take
the test for each one online -- most people can complete all of them
in an evening or two. But Lynn's fast-track course "hits the
highlights" and helps you get ready for the test more quickly. Then,
you can just go home, take the online tests, and you're done.

Here are a few links about the individual courses:

If anyone has additional questions, please let me know.

73, Chris KL0UD

Since I have to ask, it's probably over my head. Is it amateur radio
related? What is IS-100,200,700?
