Announcements:

Chris KL0UD announced that Coweta ARES/RACES will have a special
SKYWARN net on Saturday, June 2nd in support of Georgia ARES' state
SKYWARN drill (time TBA). Need a volunteer to check in on the Georgia
state net on Sunday 6/3 at 6pm to report our results.

Eddie K4UN announced that at the BGMRC meeting, Field Day and Powers
Crossroads were discussed. People are invited to bring their mobile
rigs to Field Day and get them outfitted with Anderson Powerpoles, the
standard connector for ARES. Powerpoles will be available for purchase
at a minimal cost, thanks to the guys who brought some back from
Dayton this year. Eddie and Ellis K4WPM will be sending postcards
about Field Day to all hams in Coweta County. At Powers this year the
club will be handling the intercom system and staffing the hamshack,
but once again will have no involvement with the Monday evening
load-out. Work parties for wiring, etc. will be announced soon. (Eddie
& others, please provide additions and corrections as needed...)

Respectfully submitted,

Chris McGehee KL0UD
