Setup will start on Friday afternoon and there is plenty of air-conditioned sleeping space available for those of us staying the duration. We invite any HAM or prospective HAM or those curious as to what HAMs do to attend any or hopefully all of the event. We will be serving free Hamburgers and hotdogs from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Saturday. Come on out and bring the family. We will also offer assistance in adding power pole connectors to any mobile, HT or Base station radio. Connectors, 30 and 45 amp will be available for purchase. We will be checking and adjusting mobile rigs for the best achievable SWR and offer assistance to anyone who desires help in installing a mobile rig. We will have a radio dedicated to fast CW and one dedicated to 5 WPM max. We will have some Boy Scouts who are interested in Ham Radio in attendance. Some will be ready for their General exam and some for Tech by the end of Summer. We will have a GOTA station and will assist future HAMs to talk on HF. Please come and join us. Talk-in on 145.130 tone 156.7 (de ELLIS CAMP, W8PY) According to ULS, Ellis' new call was awarded just two days ago, and not even the ARRL database has it yet this morning.
