I have been out of town and when I got back I read by mail and it seems ironic that in the same reading session I read Ira's Nostalgia post and then read an email from Bill Merrit about his and others efforts to introduce ham radio to several hundred boy scouts on Saturday November 4th.  What an  opportunity to start a grassroots movement toward improving the club and forwarding the case for Ham Radio.  We certainly need to work on members who have  ceased to participate but this seems like a fantastic opportunity to reseed.  I will be out of town and can't participate, but if you are here and can spare a few hours, why don't you give bill a call and go out and help.
