[Bgmrc-list] Coweta ARES/RACES August meeting

The August meeting of Coweta ARES/RACES will be held on 

***Monday, August 14th***  at 7pm, at the 911 Center in Newnan. (At the reorganizational meeting last month, the group decided to hold regular meetings on the second Monday of each month.)

Our speaker will be John Feldt (my boss) of the Southeast River Forecast Center/National Weather Service. He will provide refresher spotter training, and also discuss the possibility of involving weather spotters in flood observations.

We will also talk about how we might participate in Amateur Radio Public Awareness Day, to be held Saturday, September 16th.

If you've completed any/all of the required FEMA IS courses, please bring a copy of your certificate to the meeting for the official EMA files.

If this is your first ARES/RACES meeting, we'll have some registration forms for you.
